This client had always been fair skinned and her lips were always quite pale. She never liked that and wanted a bit more color. Now when she looks in the mirror she smiles because it looks like a little bit of color, and LOVES it. Surprisingly enough we did her brows too and she said that her lips are what makes her feel more confident and loves more.

What to Expect During Your Permanent Lip Blushing Appointment
1. Consultation
We discuss your goals, past PMU, desired shape and color. I will give recomendations and hear your feedback. See whether you want Full Color or Ombre (Outer third of your lip blended to center.
2. Prepping and Numbing the area.
I will Alcohol wipe and numb your lips and put some plastic over it.
3. Lip Blush Mapping
I make sure to map out your vermilion border and try to balance out with staying within the border. I can take all of the lip skin but in order to make you look fuller, more balanced, more pouty, etc. I will personally choose based off what your thoughts are as well.
4. Color Selection
Pigment is selected based off whether you want more pink, nude, berry, red etc. I don't ever choose one pigment I usually mix so there is a bit more depth not just one that looks stark one color.
5. Lip Blushing Procedure
I do the outline of the lips first and than start shading in 4 quadrants.
6. After care Instructions
You'll receive detailed instructions for caring for your lip blushing, but I will give you some green soap to clean them and a balm to use while they heal.
7. Perfecting Session
If you decide you want a second appt it is extra but we can do it 6-8 weeks later.
Lip blushing After Care
Stay Away from Pool, Hot Tub, and Sauna
Stay away from Direct Sunlight and wear Sunglasses, and Hats
Don't eat anything yellow or red base the first week or two. Curry, tomato based or highly pigmented it can dye your lips.
I have you clean and keep them hydrated. I will give you a green soap to wash them multiple times a day.
Usually it takes 10-14 days to fully have them flake off.
Healing Process
Remember your skin will heal differently and some people heal in shorter time, some longer, some have more skin that peels, and some have none. But this is a timeline that is similar to a lot of people.
Days 1-3
Lip Blushing will be way darker these first couple of days.
Days 3-7
Lip Blushing will start flaking, the color can dissappear or lighten significantly. It's called the ghosting phase. Trust the process.
Days 7-10
You will be done flaking and can shower and swim, hot tub, and sauna again. You might feel itchy because its healing but that's ok. Make sure you keep it moisturized and cleaned after you eat and keep the balm on it.
Weeks 2-4
Lips will start to settle into the color they will be.
Weeks 6-8
You can get your touch up if you wantanything tweaked or changed.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Much does Lip Blushing Cost?
I charge $500 for Lip Blushing.
How often do you need a touch-up for lip blushing?
Depends on the color we choose, and how dark or vibrant you want that color to be. Usually it's 2-5 years based off how pigmented you want it to be.
Can I wear Makeup after Lio Blushing?
For the first 7-10 days I usually recommend nothing but the balm on for firs 7-10 days but after its all flaked than you can. You can wear other makeup just keep it off the lips.
What Should I do before my appointment?
If you have any questions or concerns ask me. If you want to do any facials or anything like that do it before. 6-24 hours before you should eliminate or minimize caffeine and if you are on a blood thinner that you can skip one day than do that. Come hydrated and eat something. Also I recommend comfortable clothing you will be laying down on a massage bed for a couple hours.
Does Lip Blushing Hurt?
I put primary numbing, and once I do a first pass than I do a secondary numbing. I have heard some people say that have done brows or eyeliner that lip blushing hurts the most out of all of them but I work with you and if its starting to get spicy. I will just add more numbing.
What is Lip Ombre'?
Ombre' is when I do the color on your lip line and the outside 1/3 of your lip blending into the center.
